Properties of active substances

Borage oil is a source of essential Omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic and gamma-linolenic, which support the skin’s barrier function. These acids are part of the so-called ceramides, which form special plates in the intercellular space of the skin and thus prevent its maceration (penetration of water from the outside between epidermal cells) and transepidermal moisture loss, preventing dryness, flaking, flabbiness of the skin and maintaining good hydration and elasticity.

Fish oil is a source of concentrated omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids such as  EPA ( eicosapentaenoic ) and  DHA  ( docosahexaenoic ), which have anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties. They also affect the permeability and elasticity of cell membranes. Combination with Omega-6 fatty acids reduces the number of anti-inflammatory drugs (including steroids) widely used in antipruritic therapy.

Zinc is the most important element involved in wound healing – cell regeneration, which plays a leading role in the treatment of skin disorders. Zinc deficiency is the cause of serious dermatological disorders, the so-called dermatoses.

B vitamins  ( B1, B2, B6, B12 )  play an essential role in the metabolism of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids and enhance the skin’s barrier function.

Biotin is a vitamin of the B (H) group, when taken orally, it transports the sulfur included in its composition to the skin – the most important component of the metabolism of the skin and skin glands helps to normalize the secretion of sebum and the formation of sebum (sebum), which is especially important for dogs suffering from seborrhea …

Packaging

Dosage  per day

For cats – 1 capsule.

For dogs weighing less than 15 kg – 1 capsule, weighing more than 15 kg – 2 capsules. 

Application

You can add whole capsules to food, feed the capsules between meals, mix the contents of the capsules with food, or give the contents of the capsules directly into the mouth. If the dosage per day involves the use of two capsules, the daily dose can be divided into 2 doses.

To achieve the optimal effect, it is recommended to use the drug for 2 months, in cases of chronic diseases – up to 6 months without interruption.

Before using or increasing the period of use of the drug, it is recommended to consult with a veterinarian, who can change the dosage, as well as the method of use, in accordance with the individual characteristics of the animal.

Storage conditions:  in a dry place at room temperature (not higher than + 25 ° С).
