Cough syrup for dogs
Cough syrups are used for wet coughs with copious amounts of secretions in the respiratory system and from the nose. The purpose of their application is:
- Dissolving thick or viscous mucus
- Relaxation of smooth muscles of the bronchi and trachea
- It is a supportive therapy for kennel cough and other forms of cough.
- The plant extract contained in these syrups does not directly eliminate the cause of the disease, but acts symptomatically and significantly improve the patient’s quality of life.
Mechanism of action:
Vitamin A – enhances immunity; beta-carotene stimulates the production of lymphocytes
Vitamin C – supports immunity, shortens the time of infection
Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant, its deficiency increases susceptibility to infections
Narrow-leaved plantain – has an expectorant effect, restores the epithelium of the respiratory tract, slightly relaxes the smooth muscles of the respiratory tract, antitussive effect, promotes expectoration of mucus
Eucalyptus – used to treat colds; with a sore throat; a strong expectorant used for infections of the respiratory system
Quince – relaxes the smooth muscles of the bronchi, facilitates expectoration, soothes coughs, inhibits the growth of bacteria, viruses and yeast in the respiratory system
Thyme – antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect; soothes throat infections; expectorant and relaxant
Anise – reduces catarrhal inflammation of the respiratory tract; expectorant; stimulates the secretion of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract
Structure:
Vitamin A – 150,000 IU
Vitamin C – 1,400 mg
Vitamin E – 2,500 mg
Natural aromatic compounds (plantain angustifolia, eucalyptus, ivy, thyme, anise) – 45,000 mg
Isomaltulose – molasses
Sorbitol
Dosage: 5 ml / 10 kg per day. Shake well before use. Mix with feed or give orally directly to the animal.
A bottle of 100 ml is enough for 20 days for a dog weighing 10 kg.
Product for dogs only !!!
Some ingredients can be toxic to cats.
