Composition
1 g of the drug contains:
propolis – 100 mg
thymol – 1 mg
Description
The ointment is light yellow or yellow-brown in color, gel-like, thick, homogeneous, with a specific odor.
Pharmacological properties
A combination of propolis and thymol with a broad spectrum of action.
Propolis, due to the content of plant resins, balms, essential oils, tannins, aromatic unsaturated acids, minerals, trace elements and vitamins, provides antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and regenerating effect.
Thymol exhibits antimicrobial, pronounced fungistatic and antiviral properties, prevents and slows down the development of inflammatory processes of infectious etiology.
Indications
Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, dogs, cats with skin lesions (wounds, cracks, cuts, scratches, trauma, rash, itching, erosion, ulcers, burns, frostbite, fungal diseases, eczema, boils, carbuncles ), purulent-necrotic processes in the interdigital cleft and the base of the skin of the hooves, erosions, and ulcers on the mucous membranes of the nose and lips, inflammation of the eyelids, vaginitis, vestibulitis, cervicitis.

Method of administration and dosage
The ointment is applied after preliminary aseptic treatment of the affected area. On the mucous membranes of the lips, nasal passages, and with minor skin lesions, the ointment is applied in a thin layer 2-3 times a day until they are completely healed.
In difficult cases, bandages, applications and tampons with ointment are used. Gauze napkins soaked in warm ointment and a fixing bandage with a hygroscopic layer are applied to the affected area. After 2-3 days, the bandage is changed. Deep wounds are tamponed with gauze napkins soaked in the ointment.
In case of vaginitis, vestibulitis, cervicitis, the vaginal cavity is pre-washed with physiological or disinfectant solution, and tampons soaked in the ointment are introduced 2 times a day.
