Unis ointment, (chlorhexidine bisgluconate)
Description
White ointment with a characteristic odor.
1 g of the drug contains:
10 mg chlorhexidine bisgluconate,
excipients and molding substances up to 1 gram.
Pharmacological properties
Has a pronounced antiseptic effect. Its components are effective against vegetative forms of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as yeast, dermatophytes, lipophilic viruses, chlamydia. In addition, the drug has anti-inflammatory, astringent, local analgesic effect. Due to its hypertension, UNISAN ointment enhances exudation, accelerates the course of purulent inflammatory processes, promotes cleansing and healing of infected wounds. The trace element zinc, which is part of the ointment, is indispensable for the normal functioning of the skin.
Application
Ointment “Unisan” is used in all skin diseases, which involves the participation of bacterial and fungal microflora:
- Staphylococcus skin
- Pyoderma (all types)
- Impetigogenic eczema
- Candidiasis of the skin (thrush)
- Dermatomycoses (trichophytia, microsporia)
- Seborrhea
- Otitis externa
- Purulent wounds and superficial abscesses
- Burns
Used for all species of animals.
The drug is applied to the damaged areas of the skin in a thin layer 1-2 times a day. The duration of application is determined by the type of pathological process. In any case, it is necessary to apply the ointment, at least for 2-3 days after the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease. In fungal diseases, the drug is applied within 7-10 days after the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease.
At purulent wounds and abscesses gauze napkins impregnated with ointment with which fill a wound or an abscess cavity. Bandaging is performed daily until complete cleansing of purulent-necrotic masses. In deep cavities, the ointment is injected in a heated form with a syringe (without a needle).
Contraindication
Individual intolerance.
Avoid getting ointment on the mucous membranes of the eyes.
Reservation
Concomitant use of iodine preparations is undesirable to avoid the development of dermatitis.

Polymer or glass jars, bottles, and also aluminum tubes on 15 g, 200 g.
Storage
In a dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
