Transmix – 5.0 g;

Tetramethrin – 0.5 g

Excipients: piperonyl butoxide, acetic anhydride, geronol FF / 4 / emulson AG / L, geronol FF / emulson AG / MS, paraffin oil, solvent – solveso 150ND / solvarex 10 LN.

Pharmacological properties

PBX vet QP53, ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents (QP53AH, combinations of other ectoparasiticides for topical application).

Neostomozan – a drug to control ectoparasites of animals, contains pyrethroids in an organic solvent, which provide a prolonged effect. The active substances of the drug (transmix and tetramethrin) act as neurotoxins on the central and peripheral nervous system of parasites.

The duration of protection of animals from ectoparasites when using the drug Neostomozan depends on the method of treatment and housing conditions of animals.

Neostomozan is effective against ectoparasites: flies (Stomoxys calcitrans, Musca domestica, Haematobia irritants, Musca autumnalis, Tabanidae spp.), Fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), Lice (Haemetopinus, Damalinia), scabies mites (Parscoptidae, Sarcoptidae) Demodicidae), and Ixodidae mites (Ixodidae).

Neostomozan has the following properties:

• acts against arthropods, but is safe for warm-blooded animals (LD50 in rats> 7000 mg / kg);
• has a wide ectoparasitic spectrum;
• easy to use;
• rapidly metabolized and excreted from animals.

Application

Prevention and treatment of horses (sports), dogs, cats with lesions of ectoparasites, such as ticks, flies, lice, fleas; treatment of demodicosis, sarcoptosis and otodectosis.

Treatment of livestock premises, where cattle, sheep, pigs, rabbits are kept during infestation by ticks, lice, fleas and flies.

Dosage

The drug is applied externally by irrigation or spraying.

Horses (sports): the surface of the animal’s body is moistened with an aqueous solution of the drug (1: 400), approximately 0.5-1.5 liters of solution is used per animal. Re-treatment after 3 days.

Dogs and cats: use an aqueous solution of the drug (1: 200) for spraying, wetting or bathing animals. At invasion by fleas or lice process all surface of a body and a residence of animals; parasites die in a few hours, a single treatment protects against reinvasion for 2-3 days; if necessary, the processing is repeated. In demodicosis and sarcoptosis, the affected areas of the skin are treated every 10 days until the disappearance of ticks (according to the results of studies of skin scrapings). At an otodectosis process external auditory passages of both auricles with an interval of 7 days.

Treatment of livestock facilities is carried out in the absence of animals by spray method when the drug is diluted 1: 400 (1 liter of drug / 400 liters of water) at the rate of 150-180 ml of aqueous solution of the drug / m2. One-time treatment reduces the population of flies for 2-3 weeks.

The working solution should be used within 24 hours.

Contraindication

• Do not use in productive animals!
• Do not use in sick, exhausted and weakened animals!
• Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug!

Reservation

Personnel working with the product must follow the basic rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary drugs.

Avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes and exposed skin. In case of accidental contact of the drug NEOSTOMOZAN on the skin or mucous membranes, it must be removed with a swab and rinsed with plenty of water.

Release form

• Glass ampoules of 5 x 5 ml in cardboard boxes.
• Glass ampoules of 100 x 5 ml in cardboard boxes.
• Bottles from dark glass on 200 ml.
• Plastic bottles (canisters) of 1 and 5 liters.
• SOYEX bottles of 200, 250 ml, 1, 5 liters.

Storage

Store in a dark place at a temperature of 15-25 C.

Shelf life –  36 months. An aqueous solution of the drug should be used within 24 hours.
