Gamavit (Gamavit) – a drug designed to increase natural resistance, immune correction and reduce the effects of intoxication in animals and birds.

Gamavit contains as active substances: sodium nucleinate – 0,002%, acid hydrolyzate of the placenta denatured emulsified (PDE) – 0,05% and as auxiliary: Wednesday 199 (balanced solution of salts, amino acids and vitamins) – 10,0% and water for injections – up to 100%.

In appearance, the drug is a clear red liquid.

Gamavit is produced in the form of a sterile solution, which is packaged in 2, 6, 10 and 100 cm3 in glass vials and 450 cm3 in glass bottles of appropriate capacity, sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps. Bottles are placed in 1 or 5 pieces in cardboard boxes together with instructions for use.

Each vial is labeled with the manufacturer, its address and trademark, name and purpose of the drug, the content of active substances, the volume of the drug in the vial, the inscription “For animals”, “Sterile”, batch number, date of manufacture, expiration date, conditions storage, state registration numbers, information on confirmation of conformity, service station designation.

Pharmacological properties
Ingredients of Gamavit sodium nucleinate and PDE stimulate natural resistance, increase the bactericidal activity of blood serum, resistance of animals to stress and excessive stress, have a detoxifying and immunomodulatory effect, increase the safety and growth of young animals.

According to the degree of impact on the body Gamavit belongs to low-risk substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in the recommended doses does not have a local irritant, allergenic, embryotoxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects.

The order of application
Gamavit is used to prevent and treat diseases of animals and birds. The use of the drug is possible by various methods: subcutaneously, intravenously, intramuscularly and drinking water.

For prophylactic purposes Gamavit is used:
intramuscularly for anemia, intoxication, acidosis, in the post-vaccination period, old and weakened animals, in the recovery period after illness and surgery at a dose of 0.1 cm3 / kg body weight 1-3 times a week for 2-4 weeks;

to increase the growth of young animals for fattening, the drug is administered subcutaneously once a day at a dose of 0.1 cm3 / kg body weight at the beginning of the fattening period – in 1, 4 and 9 days;

to increase the safety of newborn calves and piglets, the drug is administered intramuscularly once a day at a dose of 0.1 cm3 / kg body weight in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 21 days of life;

at high loads to enhance the resistance of animals to technological stress (preparation of animals for exhibitions, competitions, transportation, domestic movement) and vaccination, the drug is administered intramuscularly once before stress or a course of 8, 6, 4 days before and immediately before exposure to stressors.

Laying hens are used by the method of watering to increase egg-laying and egg weight, to preserve day-old chicks, as well as to increase the growth in Gamavit broiler chickens. At the same time 5 cm3 of the drug is diluted in 1 liter of water (working solution) and fill them with a drinking bowl for birds at the rate of 2 hours of birds’ need for water. Watering is carried out for 2 hours once a day for 4-5 consecutive days. Before feeding the drug, the bird is kept without water for 1 hour.

For therapeutic purposes Gamavit used:
in infectious and invasive diseases (including piroplasmosis) at a dose of 0.5 cm3 / kg body weight of the animal. The drug is administered intramuscularly 2-3 times a day for 3-5 days as part of a complex of therapeutic agents in accordance with the instructions for their use;

when deworming together with anthelmintics in accordance with the instructions for their use Gamavit is administered intramuscularly once at a dose of 0.3 cm3 / kg body weight of the animal on the day of deworming and again at the same dose every other day;

to increase the fertility of female farm animals, the drug should be administered subcutaneously at a dose of 0.04 cm3 / kg body weight a few hours before fertilization;

to facilitate childbirth and prevent postpartum complications (retention of manure and endometritis) the drug is administered subcutaneously at a dose of 0.05 cm3 / kg body weight 1 week before birth and in the preparatory period of childbirth;

in case of poisoning, the drug is administered intravenously or subcutaneously 2 times a day at a dose of 0.5 to 1.5 cm3 / kg. The most effective intravenous route of administration.

No side effects and complications with the use of the drug Gamavit have been identified.
