Composition and pharmacological properties.
The active ingredients – furacilin and chloramphenicol, have a bactericidal effect against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Eye drops “Bars” have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties, which allows them to be used both for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
Indications for use.
Acute and chronic conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, blepharitis, eye injuries.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to chloramphenicol.
Side effects.
When using the drug according to the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed.
Doses and order of administration.
During treatment, preliminary hygienic treatment of the eyes with a sterile gauze napkin moistened with the drug is required. Then the drug is instilled into the conjunctival cavity 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day for 7-14 days. If necessary, repeat the course of treatment. For prophylactic purposes, hygienic eye treatment is carried out once a day.
Storage.
Store the drug with caution, protected from light, out of the reach of children and animals, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 to 25 ° C.
