The pharmacological properties of the drug are due to the properties of the active substance. Fipronil, which belongs to the phenylpyrazole group, is characterized by a pronounced contact insect-acaricidal action against fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), Parasitoform and scabies mites (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.) And lice (Felicola). The mechanism of action of fipronil is to block GABA-dependent receptors of ectoparasites, in violation of nerve impulse transmission, which leads to paralysis and death of insects and mites.
The drug is evenly distributed throughout the day on the entire surface of the skin and hair, accumulating in the sebaceous glands and epidermis, and has a long-lasting protective effect against ectoparasites. Fipronil by the degree of action on the body of mammals is a moderately safe substance and in the recommended doses does not show local irritant, resorptive-toxic, mutagenic, teratogenic and sensitizing effects.
Depending on the level of infection, the duration of protection of animals from fleas is 2 months, from ticks – up to 1 month.
Application:

Dosage:

Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Do not use in animals suffering from infectious diseases and animals recovering. Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age and / or weighing up to 2 kg. Do not use for cats and rabbits.
Reservation:
Prevent licking of the drug by animals for several hours after application.
Do not use the drug orally or parenterally.
Avoid contact with eyes, nostrils and genitals. Do not apply the drug to the affected areas of the skin.
Do not bathe animals for 2 days after treatment, and then no more than once a week.
Treated with the drug all animals (dogs) kept in one room. Ectoparasites that get on the body of the treated animal die within 24-48 hours after application of the drug.
To prevent reinvasion by ectoparasites, litter should be regularly cleaned and treated with approved insecticides.
People with hypersensitivity to fipronil are not allowed to work with the drug.
If the drug gets into the eyes, skin or mucous membranes, minor irritation may occur. When manipulating the drug, it is recommended to use rubber gloves, especially for abrasions on the skin or other skin lesions on the hands. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, skin or mucous membranes, it is immediately washed off with running water. Do not smoke, drink or eat during processing. After treatment of animals with the drug, hands are thoroughly washed with warm soapy water.
Do not pet animals and do not allow children to come into contact with animals after treatment with the product until the wool is completely dry.
Release form:
Transparent polyethylene tubes of 0.67 ml (tube S), 1.34 ml (tube M), 2.68 ml (tube L), 4.02 ml (tube XL). Tubes with the drug are packed in hermetically sealed bags made of laminated aluminum foil, 1 tube per package. Packages with tubes are placed in cardboard boxes of 3 or 25 tubes in each box.
