The scent of FELIWAY® soothes the cat and creates a sense of closeness and safety in stressful situations such as moving, transporting, changing furniture, whitening, new guests (children or other animals) and noisy environments. It is analogous to the synthesis of facial pheromones used by cats to mark their territory to feel safe and secure.

Through a gland located on the chin, cats produce a hormone-based scent called F3 feline facial pheromones. To control their environment, cats carefully mark their territory using facial markings and the release of these pheromones. This happens every time the cat rubs its muzzle against furniture and walls. In a new environment or in stressful situations, these markings may be missing, and this can cause anxiety or even aggression in the cat. This condition can often lead to behavioral changes such as urine marks, vertical scratches on furniture and walls through which the cat expresses its anxiety.

The spray can be sprayed on critical points prone to scratches and urine marks.

How to use:

FELIWAY® Spray does not stain, but it is still recommended to spray a small amount and test the reaction on furniture, cushions, carpets and walls before widespread use.
remove the cat from the room to be treated before use
shake well before use
wait 15 minutes before reintroducing the cat into the FELIWAY® treated area.
In the case of urine marks, clean the contaminated area with non-scented solvents (Caution: Do not use cleaners containing ammonia, organic or lead detergents, which may interfere with the performance of FELIWAY®). For best results, use in conjunction with the FELIWAY® Electric Diffuser.
in case of scratches, apply FELIWAY® Spray directly to the marked area, spraying the product 6 times a day.
to prevent scratching and accustom your cat to new objects, furniture or walls that have just been painted, use the spray for at least 14 days.
in case of traffic stress, spray 15 minutes before departure at each of the 4 corners at the base of the carrier.
for multiple cats, use FELIWAY® Spray as described above and spray 2 times a day for 45 days.
