Ingredients:
1 gr. ointment contains:
- gentamicin sulfate – 5 mg
- collagenase (clostridyl peptidase) – 0.6 U
- auxiliary substances: vaseline oil, petroleum jelly
Pharmacological properties:
Gentamicin sulfate is an antibiotic of aminoglycoside corpses with a broad spectrum of action. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of ribosomal subunits 308. Tests of shuyigo confirm its activity against various types of tram-positive and tram-negative microorganisms.
Collagenase (clostridyl pegttidase) is a proteolytic enzyme. It has a proteolytic effect (breaks down proteins), affecting mainly collagen fibers, promotes the melting of scabs (hardened layer of blood, zornaya, and / or dead tissue covering a skin defect) and necrotic (dead) tissue. The ointment promotes enzymatic cleansing of wounds, prevents the development of infection, and accelerates regeneration (recovery).
Indications for use:
Treatment of horses, dogs, cats, decorative rabbits and chinchillas with infected wounds, burns, purulent-inflammatory processes, skin cracks, frostbite, ulcers, long-term non-healing, etc.
Dosage:
Apply directly to the affected area of the skin, or on a gauze pad, and also use for dressing, 1-2 times a day. Necrotic masses (dead tissue), exfoliated in advance, are removed.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug
Caution :
When applied to cats, do not lick the drug.
