Immunodol contains a natural polysaccharide 1,3 / 1,6 Beta Glucan isolated from the cell wall of baker's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), which activates the body's immune response, creating a protective system against viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites. Beta-glucan molecules are captured by cells of the intestinal mucosa and transferred to the submucosal layer, with, bind to macrophage receptors and activate them, which in turn leads to the activation of lymphocytes and the release of cytokines.
