Urinomet SUPPLEMENTS Balance Urinary Tract Health

Urinomet is a dietary supplement for dogs containing DL-Methionine that lowers urine pH. The drug helps in the treatment of kidney stones (struvite calculi). Struvite, i.e. Phosphate-ammonium-magnesium stones are formed in urine with an alkaline pH. Thanks to DL-Methionine, the drug acidifies the urine and prevents the re-formation of struvite stones. It can be used in cats with recurrent urinary tract problems. Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended before use.
