Albendazole

is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, effective against nematodes, cestodes and trematodes, having an ovocidal effect, reduces the infection of pastures with helminth eggs. The mechanism of action of the drug is in violation of metabolism, inhibition of the activity of fumarate reductase and the synthesis of ATP of the parasite, which leads to the death of helminths. The drug is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals.
