Description:
A clear, pale yellow solution.
Structure:
1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients:
- dinotefuran – 54 mg,
- permethrin – 397 mg,
- pyriproxyfen – 4.48 mg.
Excipients: N-octyl-2-pyrrolidone, N-methyl pyrrolidone.
Pharmacological properties:
ATCvet QP53, ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents (ATCvet QP53AC04, permethrin).
Permethrin, which is part of Vectra® 3D, is a synthetic pyrethroid, the mechanism of action of which is to block the conduction of a nerve impulse in the body of an ectoparasite by reducing the permeability of membranes for sodium ions, which leads to irreversible paralysis and death.
Dinotefuran – a guanidine derivative, belongs to the neurotoxins of the neonicotinoid class, acts on the postsynaptic acetylcholine receptors of the nervous system, causing the death of ectoparasites.
Pyriproxyfen is an analogue of a juvenile hormone that regulates the growth and development of insects, including fleas. Its mechanism of action is to disrupt the normal cycle of insect metamorphosis.
When applied to the skin, the substances that make up the drug accumulate in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands, which contributes to long-term contact insectoacaricidal and repellent action.
Application:
Treatment of dogs with fleas (Siphonaptera spp.), Lice (Sipunculata spp.) And hairs (Trichodectides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy lasts for 1 month, ovocidal and larvicidal – 2 months. Also, the drug is recommended for use in the complex therapy of allergic dermatitis caused by flea bites.
Treatment of dogs with ticks Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus. Repellent and acaricidal efficacy against Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus trivaє 1 month against Dermacentor reticulatus up to 3 weeks.
Treatment of dogs affected by flies, mosquitoes, midges and mosquitoes (Stomoxys calcitrans, Aedes aegypti, Culex pipiens, Simulium galeratum, Phlebotomus perniciosus). Insecticidal and repellent efficacy lasts 1 month.
Dosage:
The drug is used by topical (drip) application to dry, intact skin in a place inaccessible for licking by an animal (between the shoulder blades). The minimum recommended dose is 6.4 mg dinotefuran / kg animal body weight, 0.6 mg pyriproxifen / kg animal body weight and 46.6 mg permethrin / kg animal body weight, which is equivalent to 0.12 mg drug / kg animal body weight. The drug is applied to the skin in several places in doses:

Repeated processing during the season of activity of ectoparasites should be carried out according to indications, but not more often than once every 30 days.
Contraindications:
Do not use on animals with hypersensitivity to the drug components!
Do not use the drug in puppies under the age of 7 weeks, dogs weighing up to 1.5 kg, old, sick and weakened animals!
It is strictly forbidden to use the drug for cats, since it contains permethrin in its composition!
Caveats:
Avoid getting the drug on mucous membranes. Do not apply the drug to damp or damaged skin. Do not bathe animals for 48 hours after using the drug. If there are several dogs in the house, they must all be treated at the same time. To prevent re-infestation of animals by fleas, it is necessary to regularly treat the habitat of animals with appropriate means.
The drug is toxic to cats due to its permethrin content. In case of accidental contact of the drug on the fur or skin of the cat, it must be immediately washed off with water and shampoo or soap. In the case of keeping cats and dogs in the same room, dogs treated with the drug are kept separately until the drug is completely dry.
The effectiveness of the drug remains high even with frequent bathing or swimming of animals.
Release form:
Pipettes made of aluminum-polymer material, 0.8 each; 1.6; 3.6; 4.7 and 8 ml. Pipettes are packed in cardboard boxes of 1, 3, 4, 6, 12, 24 or 48 pcs.
